Content I created for an interview with Conservation Florida for the Communications Associate position.

The assignment was to develop two distinct posts using photos provided by Conservation Florida.

Save the Swamp Queen Reel: The first image featured a Florida Panther glancing back at the camera. I used this as an opportunity to showcase my animation skills in Procreate by layering dynamic, animated text over a sequence of photos highlighting Florida’s threatened flora and fauna. I framed them as “real-life fairytales” to evoke a sense of wonder and emphasize that these stories are rare, magical, and worth protecting.

A Land Remembered Carousel: The second photo showed a cow being herded by cattle dogs. Since Conservation Florida’s mission includes advocating for and protecting ranch lands, I created an educational carousel post inspired by the book A Land Remembered. This historical novel captures Florida’s ranching heritage through the story of a family of cracker cowboys. By pairing a powerful quote from the book with the imagery, I aimed to inspire the audience to support Conservation Florida’s mission—conveying both urgency and hope that it is not too late to make a difference.
